Aweber emails templates are all “responsive”.

It means they will automatically scale to the size of the device on which they are being viewed. This is a vital feature in today’s world of tablets and smartphones.

You can also see a preview of the mobile version of your email easily within Aweber you just click a preview button and toggle a ‘mobile preview’ switch to see how your e-newsletter is likely to look on a smartphone.

It’s still an excellent idea to test your email and then check it on a tablet or mobile phone.

Aweber, in my opinion, is an excellent email marketing tool. It’s not the absolute best product of its kind available, but it is reliable, reasonably priced, easy to use and contains most of the key features you’d expect from an email marketing solution.

Aweber is a product I like for its ease of use, landing pages builder, web fonts, email functionality, and support. Aweber’s free P LAN is generous, allowing users with limited lists unlimited access to key features.

Support is especially crucial for those users just starting in e marketing. Please see below.

Aweber is not for me because I am charged to maintain unsubscribed contacts, it has very basic marketing automation features, and you cannot broadcast to multiple data segments simultaneously.

Cannot import from Gmail or third-party address books.

Imports take a long time.

If businesses want to grow, they cannot ignore marketing. Email marketing is easy for even small businesses to get off the ground. AWeber (which begins at $19 per month) is just such a choice, offering an easy-to-use platform with no hidden surprises. AWeber’s templates allow you to easily create attractive emails marketing campaigns. A reporting dashboard keeps track of the key statistics. This tool cannot import contacts to Gmail from third-party address book or Gmail. AWeber does not offer integration with Google Analytics. Campaigner Mail offers better integration with third-party contacts and tracking. Chimp is one of the Editors’ Picks for email marketing software. AWeber’s Basic plan was the best option for me to review.

Compare AWeber to other competitors. AWeber cost $29 per Month for a small-sized business with 2,500 contacts. It is roughly the cost of Campaign Monitor i. Send a message to. AWeber has no limits on the amount of messages you can send in one month. This is unlike Campaign Monitor.

AWeber’s 30-day free trial is available as of 2016. To cancel, you will need to provide billing information. AWeber gives you an email address for cancellation when you signup. That’s great because other programs can make you go through hoops just to get that information.

The auto-responder features have been expanded. Legacy Followup Mailings is a feature that allows you and your subscribers to send several messages. Campaigns is another feature currently in beta. It allows you to send automatic-responders by day and hour, as well as based upon subscriber behavior and contacts in your database. At any given time, you can pause or end auto-responders. Campaign tracking allows for you to track how far subscribers have progressed in the follow-up series of emails/campaigns. You can also see which campaign caused most unsubscribes.

The least-expensive plan, for up to 500 contacts, is $19 per month (or $49 per quarter or $149 per year). AWeber offers a $10 increase to the usual rate, to enable 2,500 more users. A $30 additional charge is available for an extra 5,000 user capacity. AWeber will automatically set you up to receive automatic billing. You can cancel at any time and receive a complete refund in 30 days.

Watch out for the $29 report on how to develop an email marketing strategy. You can easily click the wrong item when you check out, and end up with the report as your shopping basket. AWeber is willing to reimburse your money if you make a mistake and don’t like the service. AWeber offers a $1 trial to give you a taste of the product, but there isn’t a free or unlocked version. This is a great deal.

By creating a Subscriber list with AWeber, you can manually add up 10 subscribers to a form. Every record will contain the contact’s name, email address and ad track value. It also contains the name of any initial message they will receive. If you have a lot of names to track, it can get tedious. You can use an import tool to save time and have a textbox where you can copy and paste the entire list of addresses. You can also upload a spreadsheet (XLS and XLSX), text file (CSV, TSV, and TXT). Mail. AWeber’s contact pull feature isn’t available for Chimp and GetResponse (15.00 Per Month at GetResponse), but AWeber unfortunately doesn’t offer Gmail and third-party integration. You can, however, export the Gmail contacts to a CSV file and use the import tool.

AWeber should be notified of where the subscribers were sent. AWeber is also interested in knowing if the list has been removed from another mail marketing provider. It is important to confirm that you are not buying or spamming lists. AWeber sends confirmation messages to each contact to confirm that their subscription has been confirmed. AWeber like GetResponse does not permit disposable domains. Mailinator addresses are also prohibited. This should have been clearly stated. After uploading a file that contained both Mailinator and regular addresses, I waited for Aweber to review and confirm the file. There was no error message telling me the addresses had been rejected. This led me to think that perhaps the site is slow. I also did not see anything in my import history log. When I tried the import without Mailinator addresses, it took just a few minutes.

When creating a list, you have the choice of using a pre-generated subject line, such as “Please confirm your request to subscribe” or creating your own. However, you will need to wait for AWeber to validate your subject line before creating one. AWeber also has a wizard to walk you through creating signup forms. My delight was when I discovered that I could create user segments using profile and custom fields.

AWeber says it has auto-responders, but all they really amount to are automatically sending welcome messages to users when they are added to a list. Campaigner, GetResponse and Campaigner don’t allow you to send messages based solely on users’ birthdays or locations.

AWeber creates campaigns that treat emails differently than other services. You can create Follow-up Series using different methods. These include Broadcast messages and Blog broadcasts, as well as the auto-responders described above. If a user is added to the system, follow-up emails are automatically sent. Broadcast messages however, are one-time messages. Blog Broadcast takes posts from a blog, compiles them and puts them in a newsletter. The Email Template Manager allows you to create and modify existing mail templates, or even write your own.

AWeber is able to create a clean list by regularly mailing it. Requests for unsubscribes are quickly honored and all undeliverable addresses are automatically removed. A list subscriber must give permission to receive emails.

When your import is submitted, it goes through a process that helps us to automatically determine whether or not this was the case. We look at:

How permission was gained for email

Information about the age and recent emailing of the list

You may also find other items that show proper or poor list management

Any import that shows signs of lack in management is flagged to be subject to a detailed manual review.

It is first class. The support staff are always available to help you 24 hours per day. It is easy to find the most successful emails.

These sign up forms are easy to put together and can be easily customized for your site. The sign up forms can be connected to Facebook, Twitter and other social media. plus Pay. So when customers make purchases, they are added to the correct mailing list. They also receive an automated email. Unfortunately, I’m unable automate the process of moving them to another list after they complete an automation series. Richard, thanks for the review. Fantastic. It’s the best autoresponder I’ve ever used. I’ve also tried Get. Although I have tried Response and other services, they are equally great. However, I love Aweber and don’t see any reason to change.

I’ve used Aweber since 2014, and i’ve NEVER had an issue with them. Although they do occasionally experience downtime, it is always resolved quickly. Their deliverability is amazing, the interface is very easy and the customer support team is extremely responsive. Although I had to make minor modifications to my account from time to time, the support team responded quickly. This was not required when I first set up my account many years ago. You might have to wait if paid advertising is something you want to do right away. Aweber, if you don’t have a web site yet, is amazing and I’m certain that you will love it.
