Bass can at times be over-egged

Last word of excitement

Bose Companion 20 speakers can be difficult for small brands to stand out in the increasingly competitive market for desktop speakers. However, they have the benefit that the Bose brand has lots of reputation and experience.

Bose Soundlink speakers like the wireless Bose Soundlink portable speaker and the wireless Bose Soundlink wireless speaker have been marketed to an older, more mass-market audience. Therefore, the Bose Companion 20 desktop speaker is very familiar to home.

Bose Companion20 Review: Design Bose’s desktop speakers have been a major part of its success. The Companion 20 speakers would be a great example.

They’re smart and useful. You can trust them. Reliable.

While the speaker’s price is more reasonable up close, it does look much like a regular computer screen.

Bose Companion 20, Review

The speakers make a great choice if you’re not looking for a lot of money, but still need a high-quality product.

Bose Companion 20, a brand that is less well-known in the desktop speaker market, does its best to get their name out there. This is one of the advantages of being a well known and popular brand in the industry.

These desktop speakers were designed to help the company reach a younger audience. Audioreputation evaluated this speaker, and included it in their top 10 best Mac speakers. Book Pro we believe it would be a great addon to your desktop setup.

Let’s have a closer look at design, performance, overall set-up, and other aspects of the Bose Companion20 desktop speaker.

…….Wow

My music system is too complicated for me. Bose Dali, B&W, and HT speakers are all my own. Bose speakers were not my favorite. While they all had their strengths, none of them had the “everything,” if that is what you mean.

You can enter companion 20. This is companion 20. However, their reviews of them were fantastic and shocking. Then I went to the store and listened to them. The kee…

More ping in the mind that these are an a 2.0 system. After listening to them, I suspected there might have been something underneath or behind the speakers that was amplifying their sound. They were so loud that I had to move them about the store in an attempt to “ruin” the sound. That didn’t happen. They arrived in my home and were immediately purchased. These are some of the most precise and detailed speakers that I own. Simply put. Bose’s bass sound is powerful and not muddy. The mids and treble are crisp and clean. The sound remains clear even up at max volume, although at max volume the protection circuit comes on and the sound can sound a little lacking, this protects the speakers and prevents distortion. They will still be very loud when they’re half-way, so don’t worry about them being at max volume. At $369 a pair, I still can’t believe how good they are, Bose could easily charge more for them. Bose don’t charge more for them. Phone, get these, they are cheaper and far far superior. Bose lifestyle T20, which is an excellent system for movies and music, also works well for me. I love the companion 20s system for music. You don’t need to pay a lot if you like the sound of them.

Bose, as I know, is not generally recommended by many forums for AV, like this one.

Here’s my scenario.

You will need speakers to attach to your computer. Quest Dragonfly 1.2 DAC in conjunction with the speakers – budget is up to $600 max, for speakers and DAC Please disregard the following 2 points, as they do not contribute to a strictly objective performance/technical review of the product:

Bose seems to not be recommended by many AV forums. – Bose Companion 20 speakers have a low price-to performance ratio. Please only provide feedback if you’ve had direct experience with them.

B&W MM-1 speakers are very comparable. They are not for me as the speaker can get too hot, sometimes to the point that it causes heat strokes. It is not something I would want to do.

You can suggest speakers from other manufacturers if necessary (regarding the same scenario as above) but only if your experience is with Bose Companion 20s and the product that you are suggesting.

This page is intended to solicit objective evaluations/commentaries of the Bose Companion20 loudspeakers, strictly from an audio standpoint.

Bose has been a common AV forum recommendation.

But, this is exactly what I would do:

Need speakers that are connected to a computer. Not wanting a subwoofer. Speakers need to be placed in stereo on the sides of the monitor. Speakers need to have a small footprint (similar to Companion 20s). – Will likely use Audio. Quest Dragonfly 1.2 DAC in conjunction with the speakers – budget is up to $600 max, for speakers and DAC Please disregard the following 2 points, as they do not contribute to a strictly objective performance/technical review of the product:

Bose Companion 20, speakers is not a recommended brand on AV forums.

B&W MM-1 speakers have been considered. These speakers are simply not suitable for me due to an issue with the right speaker becoming too warm. This is purely a personal preference.

Please feel free to suggest other speakers if it is necessary. However, you must have firsthand experience with Bose Companion 20s and the product that you are suggesting.

Hi Frank! While the Bose Companion20 speakers cannot be used with a Subwoofer, their sound quality is amazing for their small size. A bass module has been integrated into the speakers. They are space-saving and can be used without a sub.
