Daily Ristretto Review of Chock Full O’Nuts

Adam Smith on Facebook suggested that we brew Chock full o’Nuts. The flavor was very bland and it tasted like a grocery store brand. It was almost like a cup of tea, which is what your grandma would have you drink after eating a piece of cake.

The coffee was pre-ground and listed as ‘premium’. While I am unsure if this meant Robusta and Arabica, it is most likely a mixture of the two.

It was inactive and I was led to believe that the coffee was already dead upon its arrival. The atmospheric gases from these beans had long ago given up and entered the atmosphere.

It doesn’t make Specialty Coffee and is probably not well-worth your time. Bialetti’s adorable single-serving French Press was what made my horrible coffee. A French press is an excellent tool to make full-bodied, quick brews.
