Is it just because Khloe Kardashian makes them popular? Do they really come from her or are they just hers? Do all influencers just claim that they’re great because they make a lot of money? Well, I decided to finally find out for myself, and no, this isn’t sponsored! I paid for the jeans myself. Here’s my Good American Jeans review.
I will give you some background information about Good American.
Why the brand got so popular: Well first, it’s a Kardashian haha. Good American Jeans is one denim company that emphasizes body positivity. They have body inclusive size, so no matter what your measurements are, whether you’re tall or short, they can make jeans that fit you. There are sizes from 00 to 24 available. It is a popular choice because it offers a wide selection of sizes so that women of any shape can get a pair of great jeans.
Fun fact: A lot of people don’t know this, but Khloe Kardashian is not the only founder. She co-founded the brand with Emma Grede, a marketing agency owner who later got into business with Kris Jenner and ultimately, Khloe Kardashian as well.

Good American Jeans Overview. Good American Jeans was founded in 2016 by Emma Grede, a London-born fashion industry veteran and Khloe Kardashian. Because of their frustrations in shopping, the co-founders created Good American because they were frustrated by having to change denim every time they wanted to achieve their ideal fit.
Good American began as a line of denim only. It was later expanded to offer activewear in 2018.

Good American’s Black representation is higher than the benchmark of 10% set by Sharon Chuter who was the original founder of the movement. Good American jeans were my first experience with them. Good American jeans are all about diversity and inclusion (they have sizes 00-24*). I wasn’t expecting to find that the pants were free from any waist gaps. In the Bloomingdale’s dressing room, I remember pulling on a pair of Good American jeans filled with high hopes. When I saw that there was still a gap in my waist, I knew I had burst into tears. A blog reader wanted my opinions on full jeans. I gave her my first experience with them. However, since I did have better luck with their Bombshell denim shorts I decided to give them another chance and write a review for you guys!
The brand has a lot of work ahead to make inclusive. They should expand the size range beyond Size 24, and feature more plus models for their product photography. Their largest model is 16-year old, which falls between the Plus and Missy sizes. I have to give them credit for having a broad range of sizes starting at their launch. A brand must do this. As someone who spent many years in the merchandising industry, and as a buyer of denim products, it is one of most SKU-intensive businesses in retail. This means that it will take a large investment to get enough depth and breadth. Good American may claim to promote “body acceptance”, but I do not consider Khloe Kardashian a role model. Good American jeans run on the expensive side if it is your first shopping experience. But, I believe that great denim should be an investment piece. At this price you can get more wears each year than replacing them every season. We’ve been hearing from Y-O-U for months (if not years) about how wonderful Good American Denim is. Thank you so much for trying them. They felt so soft and cozy the instant I pulled them from their package. The moment I tried them on I noticed a difference in my legs. These have the perfect amount of distressing. It’s not excessive but it gives them just the right amount. The length was perfect for me at 5’4″. They could be shortened if one is shorter. They are a great pair that I recommend and I’ll be ordering more.

I’m a sucker for a great pair of white jeans so when I saw these [on sale !] I quickly added to my cart. The cropped design is great for 5’4″. They’re just like the other pair. The pink that was visible from my clothing did show through a little, so they don’t make me feel completely comfortable. However it didn’t cause any problems. This gives me an extra boost of booty that I enjoy. What I do know is that Good Legs’ entire line will be a favorite of mine.
