Louis Vuitton Vs. Goyard Handbag Review

My 5 Must-Have Handbag Reviews was hugely popular last year. A lot of positive feedback was received, as well as requests for more similar posts. When you are considering a major purchase of a handbag, it is important that you explore all options. One of my long-time favorite handbags is the Louis Vuitton Neverfull Tote MM . [I actually included it in that review previously mentioned.] However, if handbag-lovers are like me, you can’t ignore the Goyard St. Louis MP Tote. From a stylistic standpoint, both are great and when I went to their London shop, I discovered that the price points of each bag were very comparable. Anyone looking for a useful tote will find it hard to choose between these two options. With that said, I decided to purchase the Goyard tote to try it out for myself to do some investigative work for you. Since it’s been quite some time since that purchase, I decided to share the pros and cons of each bag with you today so you’re able to make an informed decision about which bag to buy. HEADS UPS! So I got these measurements from Louis Vuitton. However, my MM measures much longer than the 12.6 inch. I’m measuring 18” from corner to corner. Just a head’s up … not sure what the issue is there. I think I have the MM correct.

* DURABLE & LONG LASTING: Made of monogram canvas, this bag will stand the test. This sturdy, hardcore material can endure years of wear, heavy weight, extreme weather and years upon years. It is waterproof so that’s a plus!

* SUFFICIENT SPACES : The MM provides more room than you may think. The MM is medium in size, which I found worrying at first. It wouldn’t fit into my workbag or everyday carry-on bag. The bag is just big enough to hold all my office necessities. This helps me not pack too much and keeps me from getting overweight. I can fit my laptop in it, a small notebook, sunglasses case, etc. The interior has a zipper pocket for receipts or pen, as well as a pouch that prevents small items spilling over to the bottom. It also has a keychain attachment on the sides. The keychain detail on the inside at the top is my favorite. I use them to hold my keys. All of these little details help keep me SUPER organized, which is typically hard to do!

TWO BAG IN A ONE TOTE: The side tie can be pulled up or down to make a totally different look. Each style is elegant and modern, with the added privacy that comes from being cinched up. Although a bag is a good carry-all, I don’t think it’s the safest. Because they are so easy to see, tourists are often easily targeted in tourist hotspots. Some totes, especially for travel, are not the safest bags. So, since it can’t zip close, I think this alternative wear option is great for keeping your items a little bit more secure.

* FUN INTERIOR FABRICS: The interior fabric of the Neverfull bags is my favorite, no matter if it’s light pink, magenta, red or beige. It really enhances the bag’s elegance and intrigue. If I am honest, the interior of Goyard Totes seems like it’s just the outside.
