TaylorMade’s Softest Tourball: TaylorMade has released the new Tour Preferred Ball (4-layer construction with 80 compression), which features TaylorMade Speed. The inner mantle layer of the Mantle is composed of a material which is more than 65 percent softer than the old generation. It also has a greater flexibility and strength than its predecessor. Engineers developed the new mantle, which is softer and more flexible than the previous generation. It also retains the high performance of the Tour Preferred ball.
Tour Preferred Golf Balls offer a more consistent launch with greater spin for longer irons, as well as allowing you to hit the green faster. TaylorMade’s Soft Tech Cast Urethane Cover, which is still the best and longest-lasting cover in its class, remains on the new Tour Preferred. LDP (low drag performance aerodynamics) provides 322 dimple patterns that provide distance off the fairway and allow for a more direct flight to wind. Tour Preferred has been designed for all types of golfers looking to find a more comfortable tour ball.
