You can look good!

The TSi2 driver maintains the elongated circular shape of the TS2 predecessor [review THIS ]. As an alignment tool, the only accent on the gloss black crown is a “TSi”. It is very square when it arrives at its address. I find the club looks really sleek with the Mitsubishi Kura Kage shaft in matte.

The TSi2 driver’s face is distinctive and captivating. Although the heel and toe section have some similarities, they are not the same as the previous generation. It is the middle section that makes the face so fascinating. The texture of the center section was revealed by my thumb and finger. Although I expected to see an imprint from each ball strike, that was not the case.

The sole design of the TSi2 is modern and clean. It features a mix of different colors and finishes. Simple weight ports at the rear make it easy to launch. A classic Titleist script is always a favourite of mine.

Titleist Tsi2 Driver Review – Distance Bomber

Paul Club Reviews – Golf Product Reviews No Comments

The TSi2 is a game-improvement driver from the TSi series. Its forgiving construction is designed to deliver maximum ball speed at every impact point on the face. With a deeper, lower CG that produces high launch and low spin, it ultimately helps golfers hit the ball longer and hit more fairways.

The TSi2 is a new generation of face technology with an increased MOI and adjustable capabilities that are typical for the whole TSi range.

How long-lasting and forgiving can the TSi2 be? It performs on the course. Does it make sense to have the bag?

Titleist Tsi2 Driver Review

Over the past five years Titleist has had a few issues with drivers. Titleist sets high standards so that drivers are not a problem.

Titleist may have lost some fans because of the way they market themselves, like TaylorMade or Callaway. Callaway and TaylorMade both release new drivers every two years and attempt to sell golfers on how their driver is the best thing since sliced bread. This is a complete BS scheme, but it works. Titleist doesn’t come to mind when people think of outstanding drivers. People think about TaylorMade or Callaway. It is really a shame.

Titleist drivers, including the Titleist TSi driver series, are of high quality. The Titleist TSi series is an excellent choice if your goal is to support a company with a superior reputation that won’t be oversaturated in the market.

This review will focus on the Titleist Ti2 driver, which is advertised as being the longest, most forgiving, and high-launching driver in the series.

The Performance Titleist TSi2 driver is extremely visible because it has a bigger, more obvious club head. Its design screams “superforgiving”, which can be great for golfers who need more fairways. Despite both the TSi2 & TSi3 being 460cc club heads, it appears that the TSi2 driver is larger due to its longer and lower head. I like the all-black crown with the contrast black/white club head cover.

It’s easy to talk about appearance, but it can be difficult to discuss performance. It’s impossible to know the exact performance of your swing with Titleist TSi2 drivers, but it will be possible to provide some general guidelines.

This driver will work well for those who want the ball to fly high with added forgiveness. This is the best model, and it should be what almost all golfers get. Many golfers don’t require adjustability or sliding weights. An average golfer requires a design with a low center-of gravity that propels the ball high. The average golfer needs a large profile club head that makes even off-center strikes still fly far and relatively straight. That’s it.

OUR TAKE: The TSi driver faces are amazing. We cannot believe how well they look and feel. Said an excited club tester, “It’s a bit bubbly looking, but the ball flies hot off the clubface.” Said another, “It’s the number one driver that I’ve tried.” Those are high praises for Titleist, considering the challenge it was to build a driver with a clubface made from an incredibly unique, aerospace-grade titanium. Titleist was not impressed with the TS line up two years ago. Their incredible performance and speed helped counter this perception.

Two drivers are now available with the TSi series. They could just as easily make their way to your bag like mine.
