Decaf Coffee, Decaf Anywhere: Counter Culture Coffee’S Slow Motion

Decaf coffee can be quite delicious. No, really!

This is a good alternative to high blood pressure, hypertension and anxiety. You can use it if you need to have a cup of coffee at night but still want to go to sleep at a specific time. This is the only way to go for me. Too much caffeine leaves me feeling nauseous and can cause me severe panic attacks. Fun times. Even caffeine junkies will turn to decaf to wean themselves off their daily limit ( which, according to recent studies, shouldn’t be more than three or four cups per day ). You name it, there’s a person who benefits from it.

Decaf is still the most popular type of coffee in modern culture, despite all its perks.

Even though it’s not being labeled as inferior, American roasters tend to overlook it and treat it like a secondary option with limited options. “Death after decaf” and all that. Decaf coffee has been gaining popularity. More roasters are offering several decaf options in their line-up, with recent decaffeination techniques such as the Swiss Water method finding the perfect balance between effectiveness and quality. There are many ongoing health studies that promote the positive effects of a low-caffeine lifestyle.

So, basically? Decaf is due to get the shining it deserves.

Which beans are worth a purchase plus shipping? Which beans are the best in today’s competitive coffee industry? Let’s find out. We will be collaborating on this review of Decaf, Decaf Everywhere, which examines complex origins, flavor notes, and other characteristics of whole beans. The great equalizer? These decafs can be used in any combination.

Let’s have a look at Counter Culture Coffee’s Slow Motion to see if it’s worth trying:

Coffee Review: Counter Culture Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Ambessa

Plainspoken Coffee. Review #4: A Coffee Review For Ordinary People

The coffee: Mark Overbay of Counter Culture Coffee was kind enough to include a bag of their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Ambessa with my last order. Yirgacheffe comes from the Sidamo area of southern Ethiopia. Like most other Ethiopians, it is grown on small, diverse forest plots, organic and shade grown. These beans have unique flavors and are described as small and long. After being wet-processed, the coffee is then dried in the sun.

The beans: This was an Ethiopian roast that we were expecting to have complex, rich flavors. However, it was dry-processed. These coffees were far less intense, and the flavors were more than just a dance on your tongue. Although most people liked it clean and bright with some wine or citrus added, it wasn’t easy for novices to grasp the subtle flavors. The mouthfeel was buttery and it lingered for a while. Starbucks was the first person to taste raw honey.

The coffee could be better than espresso. This is evident by comments on the Home Barista Forum bread, coffee, and yoga. She also had trouble getting all the fruits flavors into the Ambessa cup, even though she used a Chemex/french press rather than a drip. Sorry that it wasn’t possible for us to test it with espresso. We also regret that it was only available nine days after roasting.

Yirgacheffe coffee often has floral notes like jasmine. It is also sweet and honey-like. According to the Counter Culture description:

You will find other tropical flavors like mango alongside the lemon-blossom honey flavor. It is floral and vivid, reminding you of roses and honeysuckle. It is an ideal choice for summer because it has a light, fruity body.

bread coffee chocolate yoga used the terms winey, tea-rose floral, citrus, and carmelly-honey-syrupy. Although it sounds as if we did have the elements, they were not quite as pronounceable as we might have expected.

Counter Culture Coffee: Which Roast is It?

Counter Culture roasts beans in large industrial machines. The machine tumbles the beans within a heated drum. All of our machines are run manually, meaning there is a human manipulating each batch and determining how the roast runs.Jun 22, 2020
