Top 10 Cuyana Reviews

OK, I think you’re sold on Cuyana. Now let’s dive into Cuyana’s reviews and my absolute favorites products.

I’m asked most frequently about my Cuyana Small Carryall Tote, most likely because I almost always am carrying it. It comes in black. I’ve used it a lot. It’s only about a year old, however, it’s been on countless travel adventures, many photoshoots, to work almost every single day, and it even once caught my fall into a city street and sustained some (surprisingly) minor damage on the outside, and kept everything, including my precious DSLR and lens, on the inside safe and undamaged.

What it fits: The carryall tote is the smallest of the tote sizes. You can choose from small to medium sizes or oversized. The bag is actually quite large despite the small size. Cuyana allowed me to choose the medium size carryall bag.

The majority of the time, this is what I use to carry: my DSLR, essentials (phone, keys/lipsticks and wallet), and maybe something small like a scarf or T-shirt. On days when I need to carry my laptop, I can slip it inside but with no room to spare at the zipper opening. This laptop cover is perfect for protecting my computer from scratches and still fitting in the bag. The bag can hold my laptop, my keys and my glasses. However, it is not too big.

Colors: Black, Sunshine (yellow), Blush, Navy, Stone Price: $185 (+$15 to monogram, optional) The Medium Carryall Tote Earlier this year, Cuyana introduced the new Medium Carryall Tote. You can bet I wrote a thousand heart eyes emoticons for their Instagram post – it was just what I needed!

Small Carryall Tote is almost perfect, it’s just a touch too small to tote around my DSLR and laptop comfortably. Although I did not need the Oversized Carryall Tote, I still needed a zip top and carryall strap for all my toting requirements. You see where I was stuck? Fortunately, I must not have been alone which is why Cuyana created this little beauty!

The size: It easily fits my MacBook Pro 13′′ (as well as the MacBook Pro 15′′). You can fit your phone, Canon 6D DSLR, wallet and keys. I typically can fit a t shirt, scarf, or a few smaller items into the tote once all those are in place.

What to do about those Daggone Blemishes

Being a basics girl, you’ll see I don’t have a lot of fuss about clothes. I’m particular about fit and quality, but in general I keep things pretty simple and predictable in my closet so I can mix almost everything together.

The best style decision I have ever made is to buy a bag of exceptional quality for every season. That’s it. Sometimes I will swap my bag for a smaller one, but only when it is absolutely necessary. This is almost always for the sake my outfit.

My Madewell zip top crossbody transport crossbody was the catalyst. Even though it’s too small for me right now, that bag still exists in my wardrobe. Then I switched over to the Madewell medium transport tote , and even got the pink version for spring. While I am aware that not everyone likes a closed purse, I find the convenience of an open top bag to be very useful.

Intermixed in those bag choices was the Cuyana Small Carryall Tote . I own the pink shade, and gifted the stone color to a friend.

The bag I have found works well for my everyday essentials, and I can carry it around without a big purse.

How does it save time and money to keep one bag the same for so long? This is because I won’t have to switch back and forth between bag types every other week. Or change it with what I wear that day. And I won’t be spending as much on replacement bags that last less than mine.

Target has a similar product for $24.99, the Madewell zip-top transport crossbody. Though I have not personally tried the product, reviews appear to be very positive.
